Article VI (Committees)
Committees of the organization shall be appointed by
the Chairman or President, who shall in naming a committee, in each case
shall designate its chairman.
Article VII (Quorum)
Seven members of the club shall constitute a quorum. A
majority vote of the members of the club present at a called or regular
membership meeting, shall
have the authority to transact any business of the club.
Article VIII (Meetings)
The club shall meet once each month at such time and
place as it may from time
to time be determined. Special meetings may be called by the President,
or by
five members of the club at any time.
Article IX (Parliamentary Rules)
The proceedings of the Lincoln Riding Club shall be
governed by the Roberts
Rules of Order.
Article X (Amendments)
These by-laws may be amended or altered by a
two-thirds vote of the members present at any regular meeting, provided,
that special notice shall have been
mailed by the Secretary to each member of the club not fewer than five
days
prior to such meeting.
